I’m an artist first — design is one of the many ways I tell stories. My creative practice is shaped by my multicultural background (I'm half Korean and share life with a Japanese partner), my deep connection to nature, and a lifelong exploration of visual expression through fine art and process-driven work.

Based in Brooklyn, I work as a designer and creative director, creating brand identities rooted in clarity, story, and substance. My aesthetic merges quiet sophistication with a fresh, contemporary lens — always crafted with a sense of emotion, intention, and artistry.

Process is central to everything I create. My art practice has taught me how to slow down, observe, and listen — a mindset that informs my design work in meaningful ways. Whether I’m collaborating with mission-driven organizations or growing my own brand, Waves Made, I bring a thoughtful and intuitive approach to each project.

I’m also a new parent, learning how to balance creative work with the demands (and joys) of caregiving. Right now, I’m expanding my practice as a generative AI art director and continuing to build Waves Made — a space where handmade objects, sensory experiences, and a deep connection to nature meet.
